Alumni Spotlight: UM grad becomes head of Dupont's plant breeding
In an announcement from DuPont dated May, 2010, Dr. John Soper was named vice president of DuPont's Crop Genetics Research & Development group. Dr. Soper received Bachelor of Science in Botany in 1981and Master of Science degree in Agronomy in 1983 from the University of Maryland, College Park. He earned his doctorate in agronomy and plant breeding from North Dakota State University. - posted Aug 27, 2010
